The River and Rich apartments form part of a multi-use development located in East Franklinton along the Scioto Greenway. The property offers 230 multi-family units with a handful of amenities, in addition to ground floor retail space and a parking garage. Following the up-and-coming art scene in Franklinton, the space also features a number of murals and art pieces by local artists.
For the new development, completed in 2019, Judith Politi Interior Design provided furniture packages for two model apartments, lobbies, clubhouse, and pool amenity deck. Finish specifications and paint colors were provided by JPID for the clubhouse and exercise areas. The FF&E packages included price selection, order management, install and punch out. We also provided plans for art selection and placement for the wide variety of locally created artwork used throughout the building.
R+R captures the local talent and enriched atmosphere established by artisans living and working in Franklinton. JPID designed the space while working with local art studios, craftsman, and individual artests. A mural was created to illustrate Franklinton’s eclectic history using historic and contemporary images of local landmarks, surrounding buildings, shops, and restaurants located in Franklinton. The overall design provides residents and visitors with a unique, colorful, and tranquil urban environment in Columbus, Ohio.
